From digital rendering to CNC routing, mirror polishing, LED wiring, and dockside install. Every step happens under one roof in our Southern California shop. No outsourced letters, no middlemen, no compromises.
01
Design & Digital Proofing
Every project starts in our design studio. We draft your yacht name in CAD, dialing in proportion, kerning, mounting points, and finish so you can approve a true-to-scale rendering before a single cut is made.

02
Laser Cut
High-precision laser cutting produces clean, accurate components for illuminated yacht names, custom logos, and marine signage. Stainless steel, aluminum, and acrylic are cut to exact specifications, creating crisp edges ready for finishing and installation.

03
CNC Machined
Our CNC machining process delivers precision-cut acrylic backers, mounting templates, and custom fabrication components engineered for a seamless fit. Tight tolerances ensure every yacht name and logo installs with perfect alignment and a refined finish.

04
Polish, LED & Install
Letters are deburred, polished to a flawless mirror finish, and wired with marine grade halo or back lit LEDs. Our installers mount, level, and seal everything dockside, finished and ready for the water.

FAQ
3D illuminated yacht signs in Southern California
Who makes 3D illuminated yacht signs in Southern California?
Custom Yacht Signs, based in Marina del Rey, designs, CNC-machines, mirror-polishes, wires, and installs 3D LED-illuminated yacht names entirely in-house. Most Southern California sign shops outsource fabrication to out-of-state manufacturers. We're one of the only fully in-house operations on the West Coast.
What materials are used for illuminated yacht names?
We use mirror-polished 316 marine-grade stainless steel and cast acrylic for the letter faces, CNC-cut acrylic mounts, and marine-grade halo or back-lit LEDs rated for continuous saltwater and UV exposure.
How much does an illuminated 3D yacht sign cost?
Most projects range from around $2,500 for smaller stainless names up to $15,000+ for large super-yacht installations. Final pricing depends on letter height, material, LED style, and yacht length. We quote a fixed price after reviewing transom photos and dimensions.
How long do marine LED yacht signs last?
Our marine-grade LED signs are engineered for a 50,000+ hour service life and are built to withstand saltwater corrosion, UV degradation, and LED failure.
Do you install dockside in Marina del Rey and Newport Beach?
Yes. We install dockside at every major Southern California marina including Marina del Rey, King Harbor, Long Beach, Newport Beach, Dana Point, and San Diego, with no haul-out required.
