Polished Stainless Steel
Mirror-polished 316 marine-grade stainless. The most durable dimensional letter finish and the closest thing to a mega-yacht look you can buy for a mid-size boat.
Brushed Aluminum
Warm satin finish with a lighter weight than stainless. Great for larger letters or boats where transom weight matters.
Cast Acrylic
Clean, contemporary look. Perfect for back-lit letters that need to glow evenly at night without a metallic reflection.
Halo-Lit LEDs
Letters float off the transom with a soft halo glow behind them. The signature look for premium yacht names.
Back-Lit LEDs
The letter face glows evenly from within. Best for stylized logos and script boat names.
Non-Illuminated
Solid dimensional letters without LEDs. Cleanest option for daylight-only boats and dry-docked builds.
3D vs vinyl boat lettering
Vinyl lettering is flat, cost-effective, and lasts 7 to 10 years. It's the right call for USCG documentation numbers and most first-time boat names. 3D lettering is dimensional, catches light, and is what people notice from the next slip over. If you want your boat to look premium the moment someone walks up the dock, 3D is the upgrade.
